The John Erickson Trio

A powerhouse, tuneful, Chicago jazz combo not to be missed

The John Erickson Trio has been delighting audiences for over 10 years with it's unique, jazz infused arrangements of familiar pop & jazz classics, and gorgeous original compositions. Says Gina Vodegel of All About Jazz, "The Erickson Trio creates a whole new universe with lush reharmonization, extended melodies, and subtle force." The groups broad repertoire includes pop gems - "Here Comes The Sun", and "Don't Stop Believin'", jazz standards "Take Five" and "I Mean You, and Beethoven's "Ode To Joy". Displaying a clear joy in playing together and in sharing their music with others, pianist John Erickson, bassist Dave Hiltebrand, and drummer Tim Mulvenna deliver a remarkably entertaining evening for any audience.
